ARTS & CRAFTSDesigner / Textile printing
Alexan Karadanaian is a Syrian repatriate who moved to Armenia in the summer of 2012. When he first arrived, he was mostly concerned with diaspora issues but almost a year later, he decided to continue his textile design career and open a design office and printery. After Karadanaian’s partnership dispersed, he decided to manage his design office and printery businesses on his own. He named the printery Sona after both his mother and daughter. Karadanaian meets with clients and completes design requests at his office 3point and does the printing at the Sona printery. He prints on almost anything - clothes, bags, mugs, etc. Karadanaian’s experiences show that he can face many ups and downs, and he will continue working his way to continued success.
